Los Hermanos Familia of Lubbock is proud to present the 9th Annual “Adelante Awards,” a recognition program that showcases and honors Hispanic men in the Lubbock community, who excel in their careers and volunteer efforts.
In our inaugural year, we honored 14 esteemed individuals. In addition, we established a scholarship fund and provided our first scholarship. Adelante is a Spanish word that means onward that describes Hispanic men who work tenaciously for the greater good of our community and have made or are making an impact on past, current, and future generations.
This year, individuals will be selected in the following categories: Business/Entrepreneur, Professional, Education, Military/Veteran/First Responder, Media, Civic/Volunteer, Up-and-Comer, and Youth (Up to 17). In addition, the Lifetime Achievement Awards will honor individuals who have continuously paved the trail for others.
Because there will be alcohol served, this will be an adult-only event. (No Children Please)
